5th-Gen Kia Sportage to be Unveiled Today in Pakistan

The day has come, and the wait is over as the 5th-generation Kia Sportage is going to be unveiled today in Pakistan. Lucky Motors is going to show the new crossover SUV during an event in Karachi. As per reports, the new vehicle will be introduced in three variants, including Sportage L (Long Wheel Base) and its hybrid variant. Furthermore, the company will share the specs and features of the car.

What We Know So Far? 

The fifth-generation Kia Sportage is available globally in two wheelbase options:

• Short Wheelbase (2,680 mm)
• Long Wheelbase (2,755 mm), commonly referred to as the Sportage L.

The short wheelbase version was launched in Gulf countries in 2021. However, the model coming to Pakistan is the current generation’s long wheelbase variant, which was launched in 2024 in markets such as the UAE, Middle East, Africa, and Malaysia.

During a recently held dealers’ event, the company shared the salient specs and features of this new car. As per the company, the long wheelbase version is 6.5 inches longer than the discontinued Sportage in Pakistan. This extended length offers more legroom, improved stability, and greater cargo capacity.

If we talk about the exterior, the new model will have:

•  Boomerang-style LED DRLS
• Blackened grille called star-chain grille
• Different alloy rims for all three variants

If you come to the interior, you will notice:

• Panoramic dual 12.3-inch curved displays
• Paddle shifters
• Harman Kardon speakers
• Carmine red interior
• Artificial Leather seats 

If we talk about the power and performance of the car, it has:

• New 2.0L Smartstream engine
• 1.6L Turbocharged GDI Smartstream engine (HEV)
• Shift by Wire

The safety options of the car include:

• Forward Collision Assist
• Blind-Spot Assist
• Smart Cruise Control
• Lane Keeping

Price Unveil
