Again – Yamaha YBR125G Price Increased by Rs. 18000
It has not been a month since Yamaha announced a staggering jump in its bike prices, and right after 19 days, the bike manufacturers have again unleashed a price hike of Rs. 18000.
It is related to mention that the company has increased the price of YBR 125 G series whilst the prices of other models will remain unchanged. The updated pricing will go into effect from December 5, 2023.
This decision is unexpected, considering consumers were anticipating a price reduction, given the recent trend of declining car prices following the appreciation of the PKR against the US dollar.
New Prices
- The price of YBR125G (Red/Black) reached Rs. 471,000 compared to the previous price of Rs. 453,000. Its price had also seen a jump of Rs. 18,000.
- The revised price of Yamaha YBR125G (Matt Dark Gray/Matt Orange) stood at Rs. 474,000 against the old rate of Rs. 456,000 after a jump of Rs. 18,000.
Last Price Hike
- Yamaha YB125Z (Red/Black) price saw a hike of Rs. 15,500, taking it to the new price of Rs. 396,000 compared to the previous price of Rs. 380,500.
- Meanwhile, the new price of Yamaha YB125Z-DX (Red/Blue/Black) was increased from Rs. 423,500 to Rs. 440,500. Meaning the price was increased by Rs. 15,000.
- The price of Yamaha’s third bike Yamaha YBR 125 (Red/Blue/Black) observed a jump of Rs. 16,500, taking the price to Rs. 435,500 against the previous Rs. 419,000.
The impending price hike is likely to come as a shock to customers, particularly since motorcycles are already perceived as unaffordable for the inflation-stricken masses, despite being intended for the middle-class segment of society.
Yamaha’s motorcycle prices witnessed their last increase without the company providing a specific reason for the rate jump, following the established tradition after the previous revision.
