Audi e-tron Prices Increased by Almost 2.5 Crore
With the appreciation observed in Rupee value, all the market players (except Hyundai and KIA) decreased their car prices. But Audi Pakistan, an electric car giant in the country, came with a different update – increased e-tron prices.
Audi Pakistan has announced a massive hike in e-tron prices. And interestingly, most of these vehicles have doubled in price since last year.
New Prices of e-tron
e-tron prices are increased by almost four crore. As per the notification, the new prices of five variants of e-tron are:
- The new price of e-tron 50 is Rs. 32,450,000 compared to Rs. 20,850,000. Means, the car has observed a hike of Rs. 11,600,000.
- Meanwhile, e-tron 55 will now cost Rs. 38,000,000 instead of Rs. 24,250,000. Meaning, the price has witnessed a jump of Rs. 13,150,000
- e-tron SB price has been increased by Rs. 13,150,000 and will now cost Rs. 36,150,000 against the old price of Rs. 23,000,000.
- Furthermore, the revised price of the e-tron GT is 48,325,000 as compared to the old price of Rs. 30,800,000. Means, the car price is up by Rs. 17,252,000.
- Lastly, the company has announced a massive jump of Rs. 24,600,000 in the price of the RS e-tron GT. The car will now cost Rs. 68,000,000 as against the old price of Rs. 43,400,000.
New Car Price Hike?
After a jump witnessed in Rupee value, the dollar started appreciating again. And consequently, the process is intimidating the automakers and consumers as well. When the LCs issue is near to being solved, Rupee starts teetering, and above all, the incumbent government is unable to devise more well-thought-out strategies to settle the matter.
If the Rupee went on losing its value, the day is not far when customers will have to bear the brunt of the new price hike series.
