A Brand New Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series Is Expensive But Worth It
I like to call myself an avid 4×4 enthusiast, but that’s just it. I like to take the lead with a wooden stick and guide the path for the 4x4s of our group to ford the river. Small river fording be alright, but the muddy river beds of Hingol wouldn’t budge against my stick and the 4x4s but still, having the best of 4×4 isn’t an easy pick and that perhaps explain why the Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series is so expensive.

Starting from 68,380, which is more than the FJ Cruiser (at 66,930) and just a couple of thousands less than your new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. I have no idea why but saw one of these here the other day on a trip, the petrol V6 or may be the Straight-Sex but it made a fantastic noise and it was quick. The guy saw our caravan of muddy Mitsubishi Pajero and Toyota Land Cruiser, and floored it. It was a single-cab, long bed one and man it sounded and felt great.
All of us had their hopes up to go back home, and plan for one until some one broke the news that they are as expensive as the new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. They even cost more than the FJ cruiser and they have a bigger range too and… I want to drive one so bad because later on at the rally, during a hill climb, the Thai Hilux Vigo struggled to climb up a sand ramp, and this just went up there. Fantastic machine, still a lot of reading to be done on these as the Diesel V8, though people compare it with the bullet proof 1HD, the 1VD hasn’t quite satisfied the Australians and Kiwis (New Zealanders).
The vehicle is still in production in Australia and New Zealand and is available in many trims with either a 4 liter V6 or a 4.5 liter V8 that you get in the standard Toyota Land Cruiser (some variants of the LX570) or whatever the engine, the availability of a brand new Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series still in this day and age, speaks a ton of about its capability.
