Breaking – Honda HR-V is Launched in Pakistan

After wait of months, Honda HR-V has finally been launched in Pakistan today. Honda Atlas was revealed by the company officials during an event in Lahore. The officials shared the salient specs and features of the car and expressed hope that this crossover SUV would be a huge success. It is pertinent to mention that this is the second car launch by Honda this year as earlier Honda launched much-awaited Civic in Pakistan.

Variants

As expected the company has launched new Honda HR-V in two variants, VTi and VTi S. Meanwhile, the hybrid HR-V will be launched in Pakistan next year, most probably in the 3rd or 4th quarter. And that variant will be launched as CBU unit, initially at least. The company officials have told us that Honda will also launch the locally assembled hybrid variant of this car but it will take some time.

Competition of Honda HR-V in Pakistan

The direct competitors of this car are Peugeot 2008 and MG ZS as they share the same B segment. Meanwhile, other competitors would be Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, Proton X70, Oshan X7 and Glory 580 Pro. Although these cars’ segment is different, however, we are comparing them on bases of price range and options.

We hope that this new Honda HR-V will be a success for the company as it will increase the competition and give another choice to the local consumers.

Global Presence
