Breaking – Locally Assembled MG HS Essence is Finally Here

The wait is over, and the moment we have been waiting for is finally here. MG Motors Pakistan has launched the locally assembled MG HS, named MG HS Essence. According to the company, it has resolved all the issues at the plant and got the license from the government for the local assembly.

The locally assembled crossover SUV has the same specs and features as the imported CBU one. Here is a brief recap of the salient options offered at MG HS.

  • 1.5-liter turbo inline petrol Euro-5 engine with 160 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.

What is Upgraded? 

The company told us that it has listened to its 10,000 HS customers and has changed a couple of things after receiving consumer feedback.

• Automatic Emergency Braking and Intelligent Speed Assist System have been disabled, while the other options of MG Pilot remain
• Pakistan maps have been enabled in the new HS Essence

MG Pakistan mentioned that the MG HS is a smart vehicle that would provide different driving modes. The HS has five driving modes that control the AC, powertrain (throttle), and EPS Sensitivity according to the mode chosen. Normal mode is the preferred mode and the most efficient one for Pakistan in all conditions.
