Lahore – In a dramatic unveiling under the lights at Capital Smart Motors’ “EVOLVE” event at the Lahore Expo Centre, the company made its official electric vehicle (EV) debut in Pakistan, launching a diverse portfolio of six EVs spanning every significant vehicle segment.
From rugged pickups to luxury MPVs, compact SUVs to sedans, CSM aims to leave no gap in the local EV lineup. The standout among them was undoubtedly the Zeekr 7X, which captured attention with its high performance and luxury features.
Below is a breakdown of what was revealed for each model, based primarily on CSM’s launch announcements.
Model by Model: Specs, Features, and Pricing
Zeekr 7X — The Showstopper
The showstopper Zeekr 7X is a premium electric SUV priced between PKR 24.99–26.99 million. It features a 100 kWh battery, dual-motor AWD setup producing 637 hp, and a range of around 543 km. The 7X can sprint from 0–100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. Inside, it offers a 16″ 3.5K touchscreen, 21-speaker Zeekr Sound Pro, Nappa leather seats, ADAS, and 7 airbags. It rides on 21″ alloys and supports ultra-fast charging (0–80% in under 20 min).
Zeekr 009 (Luxury MPV)
The Zeekr 009 is a luxury all-electric MPV priced at PKR 45.99–48.99 million. Powered by a 116-kWh battery and dual-motor AWD, it produces around 604 hp with a 582 km range. The MPV seats 6–7 passengers in opulent comfort, featuring premium leather upholstery, ambient lighting, large infotainment displays, and full ADAS safety. It’s aimed at families and executives wanting silent, high-end travel.
JMEV Elight (Electric Sedan)
The JMEV Elight electric sedan targets the mid-range EV segment at PKR 8.5–10 million. It offers a 56.3 kWh battery, 221 hp motor, and up to 500 km range. Charging takes roughly 30 minutes (fast) or 10 hours (home). Inside, it features a 14.6″ infotainment screen, 360° camera, lane assist, multiple airbags, and a modern, minimalist interior — ideal for daily urban drives.
Riddara RD6 (Electric Pickup Truck)
The Riddara RD6, Pakistan’s first electric pickup, is priced between PKR 13.3–17 million. Equipped with a powerful 315 kW (≈421 hp) motor, it accelerates to 100 km/h in about 4.5 seconds and offers 3,000 kg towing capacity. The RD6 blends off-road strength with EV efficiency, featuring a large cargo bed, robust design, and fast-charging support for practical work or adventure.
Forthing Friday (Electric SUV)
The Forthing Friday comes in both pure EV and range-extended (REEV) versions, priced around PKR 8.99–10.99 million. Its 31.9 kWh battery and 1.5L generator deliver 204 hp and up to 1,150 km combined range. Key features include a 14.6″ display, Level-2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, and 360° camera — a practical SUV for long drives without range anxiety.
Zeekr X (Compact Crossover SUV)
The Zeekr X is a compact electric crossover expected to cost around PKR 17.99–18.99 million. Measuring 4,432 mm in length, it offers a stylish design, premium interiors, and dual-motor options globally. Though local specs aren’t confirmed, it’s expected to bring fast charging, advanced tech, and sporty performance in a smaller, city-friendly package.
