Proton Saga And X70 Prices Increased
Pakistani auto companies are back with the third season of the Car Price Hike series. The first episode is out, featuring Proton. The star of the show company has increased the prices of two locally assembled car models, Proton Saga and Proton X70. Let’s have a look.
New Prices of Proton Saga
Proton has hiked the price by Rs. 230,000 across the board for all three Saga variants. Here are the new prices of the sedan.
- The new price of Proton Saga Standard Manual variant is Rs. 2,579,000, against the old rate of Rs. 2,349,000.
- The new price of Proton Saga Standard Automatic variant is Rs. 2,729,000, against the old rate of Rs. 2,499,000.
- The new price of Proton Saga Ace Automatic variant is Rs. 2,849,000, against the old rate of Rs. 2,619,000.
New Prices of Proton X70
The company has increased the price of both X70 variants by Rs. 650,000. Here are the new prices of the Proton crossover.
- The new price of Proton X70 Premium FWD variant is Rs. 6,400,000, against the old rate of Rs. 5,750,000.
- The new price of Proton X70 Executive AWD variant is Rs. 6,050,000, against the old rate of Rs. 5,400,000.
Just like the old versions, the reason behind this price hike is increasing dollar rate, freight, and shipping costs.
With that, we can cross the first company off the list of third car price hikes of 2022. Now waiting for Toyota, Suzuki, Honda, Kia, Changan, Hyundai, and others to follow Proton’s lead and feature in new episodes of the series.
