Chery Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 4 Test Units Are Finally Here!

Great news for SUV lovers: Chery Pakistan has imported CBU units of two premium SUVs — Chery Tiggo 8 and Chery Tiggo 4. Two units of Tiggo 4 and one unit of Tiggo 8 have arrived at the Karachi port, soon to go under trials and testing. 

Of course, once we hear the news about a company testing a vehicle, our next question goes: when will the car be officially launched? We do have the answer to that. According to our sources, one of the Chery SUVs will be launched in the first quarter of 2022. The other will join the club soon after (within three to four months).

We don’t yet know the specs and features of the imported CBU units. But let’s have a look at the international models and see what the upcoming Chery SUVs are all about.

Chery Tiggo 8

Tiggo 8 is Chery’s compact 7-seater crossover SUV with cutting-edge technology. Chery is offering Tiggo 8 in two engine options — 1.5L turbo and 1.6L turbo. There are three gearbox options — 6-speed Manual, 6-speed DCT, and 7-speed DCT. Other top-of-the-line features include:

China’s Chery Automobile Company has worked out a deal with Pakistan’s Ghandhara Nissan Limited (GNL) to bring its vehicles to our local market. GNL is already looking for potential 3S Chery dealerships. Hopefully, Chery SUVs will be available for sale early next year.
