The ongoing anti-smuggling campaign highlights a strict federal policy aimed at removing undocumented, Non-Customs Paid (NCP) vehicles from Pakistani roads, cars that completely bypass regular import duties, causing billions in losses to the national treasury.

Other non-automotive items confiscated in the same sweeping operation included premium-quality foreign fabrics, foreign-brand cigarettes, and bulk quantities of dried figs.
