Economic Crisis? Money Thrown from Moving Car on Road [Video]

.We all know by now that Pakistan is going through a tough time. With unstable political conditions, impending economic crisis, and constantly rising inflation, the common man is worried about the next meal. But not all are affected by it. The following video shows insane footage of money thrown out of moving car on the motorway.

This video shows a black Toyota Prado TX on the motorway with currency notes flying out of it! The car with an “Applied For” plate has its hazards on as it cruises down the motorway. The video has been made by the passengers in the car behind the Prado, and they witnessed as several currency notes were thrown out of the windows of the car. A few seconds later, the same happened, but this time, the currency notes were of Rs. 100. This was followed by another episode but seemingly with currency notes of Rs. 75.

The Prado was part of a convoy of expensive cars, all with their hazards on. The cars in front of this Prado seem to be Hilux and Fortuner. The video is hardly 1 minute long, but it seems this had been going on for quite some time, which led these passengers to film it easily. So much so that a couple of sweepers can also be seen standing by the divider, waiting for the traffic to thin out so they can pick up the money thrown from the moving car.

In a country that is facing bankruptcy and serious economic problems, such acts raise the question of whether all citizens are being equally affected by these issues or not. It also raises questions regarding the source of such money and why someone would throw out their hard-earned cash in the middle of the road just for show.

As the government proceeds to increase the tax slabs and inflation continues to rise even on basic necessities, acts of such extravagance show that a certain bracket of Pakistan’s society is still unaffected by all this. And to top it all off, they also seem to not care at all about what is going on around them.

Anyways, we can’t wait to see the onslaught of memes or Twitter feuds based on this video because these are our coping mechanisms (ouch!).

We would love to know what your thoughts are on this in our comment section!

None of the Pakistanis are poor, about some time ago a rickshaw driver eating gutka stopped by me and asked for 100 rupees. Can you imagine a person having a luxury to eat gutka and then at the same time begging for 100 rupees. I shoved on him 10 rupees and told him that is all I have got, and it’s worth is about ten times less than gutka he is eating.
Actually, for some reason, middle- and low-income class has recently taken to observe people from elite class and then pass snide remarks at their actions. In other words, Pakistani lower- and middle-income class is suffering from a neurotic disorder, which is called false consensus effect and cynicism. This lower- and middle-income class in particular needs to have themselves reimbued with religious knowledge and act gracious and thankful to Allah SWT.
