The Pakistani EV market just took a major turn. Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) officially introduced Guangzhou Automobile Group’s (GAC) electric lineup yesterday. While the company announced pricing for its hatchback and SUVs, it chose to keep the official price for one specific model under wraps for now.

PakWheels has captured exclusive real-life images of that mystery vehicle straight from the showroom floor: the all-new GAC Aion ES Sedan. If you are tired of crossovers and want to see how a classic electric sedan feels in person, here is a simple, close look at its styling and comfort.

Sleek and Clean Exterior Styling

The GAC Aion ES opts for a classic, aerodynamic fastback sedan shape rather than the high-riding crossover look common in today’s EV market. Dropping the traditional radiator grille entirely, the front nose looks remarkably clean and minimalist, dominated by sharp automatic LED headlights and integrated Daytime Running Lights.

Along the side, a long, sweeping roofline tapers smoothly toward the rear trunk deck, riding on premium silver 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. Around back, the sedan features a contemporary through-type taillight system where a seamless LED light bar spans the entire width of the trunk, giving it a highly recognizable signature at night.

Symmetrical Interior Layout and Technology

Inside the cabin, a symmetrical dashboard layout favors clean lines and easy-to-use physical controls over overcomplicated digital menus. The low-profile dash maximizes forward visibility, centered on an 8-inch floating touchscreen that supports smooth smartphone mirroring.

The driver faces a clean instrument cluster featuring a central 3.5-inch LCD Multi-Information Display. Just below this screen are touch-sensitive physical keys for climate control, allowing effortless adjustments to fan speed while driving. The raised center tunnel features a premium knurled rotary gear dial instead of a conventional gear stick, conveniently incorporating buttons for the Electronic Parking Brake and Auto Brake Hold.

Executive Seating Comfort and Cabin Roominess

Generous interior space and long-distance passenger comfort are where the Aion ES truly stands out. The entire cabin is wrapped in deep-toned, high-quality PU synthetic leather upholstery. The front bucket seats feature pronounced side bolstering to hold you firmly in place, along with integrated headrests for a clean appearance.

Thanks to a stretched wheelbase and a dedicated EV platform, rear-seat legroom is exceptionally spacious. Crucially, the rear floor is completely flat with no central transmission hump, allowing a middle passenger to ride comfortably. For added executive comfort, the heavily padded door panels match the seats perfectly, while rear passengers also get dedicated air vents, dual USB charging ports, and integrated ISOFIX child seat anchor points.

The Verdict

By prioritizing a clean, spacious layout with tangible, user-friendly buttons over hyper-futuristic gimmicks, LMC seems to be targeting buyers who value a dependable, spacious executive cruiser. It offers a distinctive and comfortable alternative for those who want a premium sedan experience rather than a standard SUV.

Since Lucky Motor Corporation has yet to reveal the official price tag for the Aion ES, its success will depend heavily on where it lands relative to its competitors.
