Today we present the owner’s review of Ali’s Toyota Yaris. Ali is a famous YouTuber based in Gujranwala, where he shares his experience of owning the Yaris without knowing how to drive. Toyota Yaris was launched in 2020, and it is the top-of-the-line Ativ X 1.5 variant. It has a 4-cylinder 1.5-liter engine producing 106hp and 140Nm of torque. It comes with a 7-speed CVT transmission, while a 5-speed manual is also offered.
Salient Features
This top-of-the-line Yaris comes with a decent amount of features, including digital climate control, multimedia steering, push start, smart entry, alloy rims, a multi-information display, and many more, which the owner really likes. Safety features include 2 airbags, traction control, hill start assist, ABS brakes, immobilizer, etc.
Interior Space
According to the owner, he feels the knee room is good in the front, but the rear knee room is mediocre. The headroom is good; however, he feels that overall space is less than the Corolla.
Suspension
A good suspension is one of the things which the owner sees in a car from a passenger’s point of view, and Yaris’ suspension is very impressive. “It’s way better than a Honda suspension,” he added. It is soft and easily absorbs potholes, which is ideal for Gujranwala roads.
Braking
The Yaris has disc brakes and an anti-lock braking system, and the owner feels that the braking is good. It is known that Yaris’ brakes are reasonable compared to the Corolla, which is way inferior.
Fuel Average
The owner is not fully aware of the fuel average, but as per the MID display, it showed a combined fuel average of 14 km/l within the city, which is very impressive. However, this estimate can be different according to driving conditions.
Owner’s Thoughts
As the owner does not drive due to road fear, he asks his friends to drive his car while he enjoys being a passenger. The main reason for buying the Yaris was some of its features, good AC performance, and most importantly, a comfortable suspension. He is satisfied with the car and feels it is an excellent reliable sedan that is comfortable to travel in.
