First Locally Assembled GWM Tank 500 Rolls Out
GWM Pakistan announced the rollout of the first locally assembled Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit of the TANK 500, a flagship full-size SUV from the brand, which was launched in January. The company announced on its Instagram page:

Prior Announcements and Timeline
The local assembly of the TANK 500 was disclosed by Sazgar, GWM’s local assembler, in a report to the Pakistan Stock Exchange late last month.
Sazgar initially stated that the first CKD rollout would occur before the end of March; the actual completion took place approximately 9 days behind the projected timeline.
Record Production in March
This rollout follows a recent update regarding Sazgar’s overall output.
A day prior to the TANK 500 announcement, the company reported manufacturing 1,808 GWM vehicles in March.
This figure represents the highest monthly production volume for the company since the brand’s introduction to the local market. We’ve covered this news in our previous blog; read it here.
