Therefore, there is a need to properly maintain the tires and wash them on a regular basis. If one skip this cleaning of alloy tires, they will undoubtedly wear out before time. Cleaning will not only decrease the ageing process of the tire but also maintain the looks of the alloy tires.
To keep the dust away, several cleaners and polishers are available in the market. Use these polishers after a regular interval of time.
If the wheels are not fitted properly, then one needs to go to the auto-shop to get the wheels checked. This inappropriateness of the fitting of the tires is due to the radial runouts. If this problem is not corrected, the bumpy ride may lead to a collision or an accident.
To avoid the kerb damage, use the wide wall tires with alloy wheels. This will not only save the alloy wheels but also increase the life of tire somehow.
Make sure to check the tightness of the nuts after 50-70 km, when you install the alloy wheels for the first time. If they are loose then readily tighten them. If any delay occurs and if the wheel bent, then it won’t be returned to its original shape. And due to this damage, the tire will ultimately tear out at a breakneck pace.
Avoid potholes while driving. The road holes damage the alloy wheels more when crossed at high speed from over them, and this impact will tear the alloy wheels at a quicker pace.
