Today Zenith Irfan is here with a futuristic bike review of two electric bikes. Evolve, a brand of Charged vehicles, is soon going to launch electric bikes in Pakistan. Zenith got the test versions of these bikes for a couple of days and talked about their performance, design, charging procedure, and much more.

Battery & Charging

As the bikes are electric, there is no need for petrol. Zenith believes it is a great upside for consumers due to the rising price of petrol. The green bike comes with a Lithium-ion battery. The Li-ion batteries are easy to manufacture and easy to charge. The red bike comes with a lead-based battery which is cheaper in price. Zenith said she prefers a Li-ion battery as it provides better performance.

The bikes are easy to charge and can also be charged at ho,e easily. All you need is a charging cable and an available socket to charge these bikes.

The company claims that the bikes can be charged completely within 7 to 8 hours. But, Zenith discovered that the bike she rode only took 3-4 hours to get completely charged.

Design & Specs

According to Zenith, the bikes looked similar to Yamaha YBR in design. The bikes had a sharp, sporty design that attracts the attention of everyone on the road. It has a comfortable seat for both the rider and the pillion. The bike is lightweight and easy to handle.

The bikes have an accelerator on the right and both the front and rear brakes can be easily controlled from the handles. This makes riding these bikes a lot easier. The bikes come with LED headlamps which are also powered by the main battery.

The handle of the bike houses a central digital instrument panel. The instrument panel displays the status of the battery and how much battery consumption is left before it needs another charge.

The bike handles are equipped with a switch that helps you change the ride mode. There are three modes in the Evolve electric bike – the first one is the Eco mode which sets the speed limit very low. The second is the normal mode which sets the speed limit on normal. The third one is the adventure mode which lets the bike go to high speeds.

The bikes are further equipped with 3 horns, BlueTooth connectivity, a dimmer switch, and the other usual switches. An interesting feature is that the bike can be easily unlocked and started directly from the key fob!!

Performance

Zenith was surprised by the outstanding performance of the bikes. She found the bikes to be smooth. The bikes produced great acceleration and were responsive. Zenith was not satisfied with the suspension of the bike as it made a noise while going over bumps and potholes.

Maintenance

As these bikes are electric bikes, they do not need regular maintenance. It is very easy to maintain these bikes as they do not require air filters, oil changes or spark plugs, etc.

Final Verdict

Zenith enjoyed riding the bike and feels that it is the future of bike riding! The charging is convenient and the performance is satisfactory. She believes that these bikes are a great option for women as they won’t have to go to petrol stations to get the fuel. As the pros of these bikes outweigh the cons, Zenith gave them a rating of 7/10!

What do you think of these electric bikes in Pakistan? Do you think they are the future awaami sawari?

2000 kW engine?? seriously and that is apart from the starting mistake of claiming zero rupees for going from one place to another.

It still needs charging which will cost electricity and that is also not cheap. This bike is under powered if it is 2 kW engine because that is less then the hp of 70 cc bike which is close to 7.5 hp to 9 hp. Here you are claiming that the pick is same as 125cc which means it should have about 4 kW to 5 kW engine.
