PakWheels has obtained exclusive images of the GAC Hyptec SSR from today’s showcase event at Royal Palm and for this one, there is only one shot that matters as the opener:
The butterfly doors open, on Pakistani ground.
GAC and Lucky Motor Corporation brought the Hyptec SSR to Royal Palm as part of a technology showcase, not a launch, not a sale, not a booking event.
Cameras do not fully communicate how low this car sits, how wide those flanks are, or how aggressively the carbon fibre body catches light from every angle. So we let the images do the talking.

What You Are Looking At
The car on display is the Hyptec SSR Ultimate trim, the top-spec variant with a tri-motor all-wheel-drive setup producing 900 kW and 1,207 horsepower, a 0 to 100 km/h time of 1.9 seconds, and the Guinness World Record for the highest drift speed ever achieved by a pure electric vehicle: 213.523 km/h.
None of that is available for purchase in Pakistan. What is available, right now, is the view.
In Person, What Stands Out
The butterfly doors are the obvious hero, and they earn every bit of that attention.
But walk around the car and a few other things register quickly:
The roofline sits at just 1,230 mm. The rear haunches are dramatically wide. And the carbon fibre finish, seen under Royal Palm’s lighting, has a depth and texture that photographs only partially capture.
The interior, glimpsed through the open doors, is driver-focused and deliberately minimal, a 14.6-inch centre screen, an 8.9-inch instrument cluster, sport seats in leatherette, and very little else asking for your attention. This car is not trying to be a lounge. It is trying to be a cockpit.
