Get Free M-Tag – Avoid Extra Toll on Cash Payment From 1st February

National Highway Authority (NHA) and ONE Network (which handles cashless toll systems on motorways) have announced a free registration of M-Tag for your car. In a new campaign, the authority has urged the vehicle owners to “get free  M-Tag” to avoid issues in the coming months.

It is pertinent to mention that M-Tag is an electronic toll collection system introduced in Pakistan for motorways to facilitate smooth and efficient toll payments. It uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, enabling vehicles to pass through toll plazas without the need for cash transactions.

Extra Toll on Cash Payment 

Furthermore, NHA has requested commuters to “travel with good balance” in their M-Tag account because there will be an extra toll on cash transactions from February 1, 2025. So, if you are planning or regularly traveling on motorways, get your M-Tag in a timely manner and avoid any problems.
