Ghandhara Tyre and Rubber Company Limited has announced that it has successfully obtained certification and registration from the United States Department of Transportation, clearing a key regulatory requirement for exporting its tyres to the US market.
The company disclosed the development in a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on July 15, 2026.
Tyres Meet US Safety Standards
According to the official filing, tyres manufactured by Ghandhara Tyre comply with the applicable US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.
The registration enables the company to export its products to the United States, giving the Pakistani tyre manufacturer access to one of the world’s largest automotive markets.
Export Expansion Strategy
Ghandhara Tyre said the development is part of its strategy to expand its export portfolio and enter new international markets.
The company added that it plans to capitalize on emerging opportunities and strengthen its position in the global tyre industry.
The announcement is significant for Pakistan’s automotive parts sector, where manufacturers are increasingly looking towards exports to reduce reliance on the domestic market and earn foreign exchange.
