The federal government has increased petrol and high-speed diesel prices, with the revised rates taking effect from July 18, 2026 to 20th July 2026.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs5.44 per liter, while high-speed diesel has become Rs31.05 per liter more expensive.

The government has also decided to move towards daily fuel price revisions due to fluctuations in the international oil market. Under the new mechanism, OGRA will revise fuel prices every day (working days only)
