Lahore— Several passengers aboard the Green Line Express, traveling from Islamabad to Karachi, fell violently ill after consuming food provided on the train. The affected passengers began experiencing symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, severe stomach pain, and, in some cases, even lost consciousness. 24NewsHD Reported.

The incident occurred while the train was en-route. Upon arrival at Khanewal Railway Station, passengers were seen protesting angrily, demanding an investigation and accountability from railway officials.

As of now, authorities have not issued an official statement regarding the incident. However, it has raised serious concerns about the hygiene and safety of food served on Pakistan Railways trains.

This incident follows a troubling pattern of food safety issues on public transportation, with many similar incidents reported aboard the Green Line Express in the past.
