Haval H6 Facelift in Pakistan – A First Look Review by Suneel

Assalamualaikum PakWheelers! My name is Suneel, and I’m back with another episode of our First Look Review series. As you can see, Ali Bhai joined me today, and we’re currently at the Sazgar Engineering plant. Today’s car is none other than the facelifted Haval H6.

Facelift Overview

Ali Bhai explains that this is a minor facelift of the 3rd-generation H6, not a full model change. The most noticeable exterior changes are:

• A new, more aggressive front grille.

• Tweaked rear design.

• Updated DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) have been completely redesigned.

• Slight design updates to the headlight internals and rear lights now look more refined and premium.

• Previously, the rear light strip used to go across the entire back — now it stops midway.

• GWM (Great Wall Motors) branding is now more prominent, replacing “Haval” in most places as part of a global rebranding.

Variant Line-up

The Haval H6 comes in three variants, just like before:

• 1.5L Turbo (Petrol)

• 2.0L Turbo (Petrol)

• H6 Hybrid

However, the difference is that now all three variants look the same from the outside. Previously, there were visual differences like wheels, grille design, and rear spoiler to distinguish them. Now:

• Same wheels, same spoiler, same exterior design.

• So, you can’t tell from the outside which variant it is — they’ve unified the look.

This makes the 1.5L variant feel like the biggest upgrade, because now it looks just like the higher trims.

Performance 

• 2.0L Turbo now gets upgraded:

  • 9-speed transmission

  • 235 horsepower (previously 205 hp)

• 1.5L Turbo now gets:

  • 182 horsepower (previously 155 hp)

  • 275 Nm torque

• Hybrid H6 (1.5L Turbo Hybrid) produces:

  • 240 hp and 530 Nm torque

Interior Changes

• The steering wheel is now chunkier, addressing complaints about the old one being too thin.

• The infotainment screen is now properly sized and looks more proportionate as it is now 14.3 inches.

• Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto is now wireless.

• The key fob has a new design and feels much more premium.

• Wireless charger is now more accessible and supports 50W fast charging.

• Memory seats have now been added to all three variants.

• Heated & ventilated seats are now available except the 1.5T variant, as it only got heated ones.

• Interior colors:

  • The red option is gone.

  • Now available in black, creamish white, and a new dark brown (mushroom-like) tone.

• The head-up display (HUD) has improved:

  • It’s brighter and the color can be changed from white to blue, etc.

However, one thing that’s been removed:

• The “boss control” for the passenger seat (which allowed rear passengers to adjust it) is no longer available.

Price

Surprisingly, a pleasant one in this case, there is no price increase despite all the upgrades. All three variants — 1.5L, 2.0L, and H6 Hybrid — maintain the same ex-factory price.

Delivery Time

• The current delivery time is around 2 to 3 months.

• It is vital to mention that if you’ve already booked your H6 but haven’t received delivery yet, you will now get the facelift version at the same price.
