Haval Unveils New H6 PHEV Variant in Pakistan
Haval has unveiled a new FWD (front-wheel-drive) variant of the Haval H6 PHEV in Pakistan. The new variant will sit below the existing H6 PHEV AWD in terms of price, performance, and drivetrain capability.
What Is Different in the New H6 PHEV Variant?
The main difference lies in the drivetrain and power.
The existing H6 PHEV uses an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system with two electric motors.
The new lower trim uses a single-motor setup and is a front-wheel drive (FWD).
As a result, its power output is lower than that of the AWD trim, and the transmission changes from the AWD model’s DHT-3 system to DHT-1.
However, the new lower trim offers a slightly higher EV and combined range.
Haval H6 PHEV FWD vs AWD
Here’re all the differences between the new FWD and the currently sold AWD variant:
| Specification | H6 PHEV FWD | H6 PHEV Hi4 AWD |
| Engine | 1.5-litre turbo PHEV | 1.5-litre turbo PHEV |
| Transmission | DHT-1 | DHT-3 |
| Drivetrain | Front-wheel drive | All-wheel drive |
| Hybrid setup | Single motor | Dual motor |
| Combined power | 322 hp | 360 hp |
| Combined torque | 540 Nm | 760 Nm |
| NEDC EV range | 106 km | 100 km |
| NEDC combined range | 1,106 km | 1,043 km |
Design and Features Remain Unchanged
Apart from the drivetrain and performance figures, the new FWD variant remains unchanged.
According to the company, its exterior, interior, and safety features are the same as those offered in the current H6 PHEV AWD.
Pricing and Bookings
The company told PakWheels that it will finalize the price of the new H6 PHEV FWD after the Auto Policy 2026–31 is announced.
The policy is expected in August, so the H6 PHEV FWD’s price may be revealed soon after.
However, the vehicle is available for display at the dealerships.
Once pricing is announced and you’re ready to book the new H6 PHEV FWD, consider arranging a new car inspection before you take delivery, since even a brand-new PHEV deserves verification that everything matches spec. A quick pre-delivery check confirms the drivetrain, battery, and features you’re paying for are exactly what leaves the showroom floor.
