Here are All Car Prices Increased in 2023 So Far

The start of 2023 has not brought good news for the car consumers as all the companies jacked up the prices during this month. The car assemblers took the step after a one-day hike of US dollar from PKR 230 to PKR 250. Here is the list of all companies that has increased the prices.

New Toyota Car Prices 

On January 28th, IMC announced second Toyota Car price increase in January 2023.  The Toyota car prices increase came as a surprise, but the desolate economic condition of the country might attract more such price hikes.

Toyota Yaris 

  • The new price of Yaris1.3 MT is now Rs. 4,079,000 as opposed to the old price of Rs. 3,819,000.
  • The new price of Yaris 1.3 CVT is Rs. 4,339,000.
  • The new price of Yaris 1.3 H MT is now Rs. 4,309,000.
  • The updated price of Yaris 1.3 H CVT is Rs. 4,529,000.
  • The new price of Yaris 1.5 MT is Rs. 4,649,000.
  • The new price of Yaris 1.5 CVT is now Rs. 4,929,000.

Toyota Corolla 

  • The new price of Corolla 1.6 MT is Rs. 5,269,000, while that of COROLLA 1.6 CVT is Rs. 5,749,000.
  • The updated price of the Corolla 1.6 CVT Upspec is now Rs. 6,319,000, and that of the Corolla 1.8 CVT is Rs. 6,069,000.
  • The revised price of the Toyota Corolla 1.8 CVT SR is Rs. 6,609,000, and that of the COROLLA 1.8 CVT SR BLK is Rs. 6,649,000.

Toyota Revo 

  • The new price of Revo G MT is Rs. 10,549,000.
  • While that of Revo is Rs. 11,059,000.
  • The new price of Revo V AT is Rs. 12,239,000, and that of Revo V AT Rocco is Rs. 12,899,000.

Toyota Fortuner

  • The updated price of Toyota Fortuner LO Petrol is Rs. 13,419,000.
  • Fortuner High Petrol  now costs Rs. 15,359,000.
  • The new prices of Fortuner Diesel is Rs. 16,189,000.
  • Last but not least Fortuner Diesel LEGENDER now costs Rs. 17,069,000.

Revised Prices of Honda Cars

On January 23,  Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Ltd. raised Honda car prices up to PKR 5.5 lacs. And here are the revised prices of all Honda cars.

Honda City 

  • Honda City M/T 1.2L was previously of Rs. 3,769,000, but after a hike of Rs. 300,000 costs Rs. 4,069,000.
  • Honda City CVT 1.2L was previously charged at Rs. 3,899,000, but after a price hike of Rs. 300,000 costs Rs. 4,199,000.
  • Honda City CVT 1.5L used to cost Rs. 4,139,000, but after a price hike of Rs. 310,000, it now costs Rs. 4,449,000.
  • Honda City Aspire M/T 1.5L used to cost Rs. 4,299,000. Honda has raised its price by Rs. 330,000 and now costs Rs. 4,629,000.
  • Honda City Aspire CVT 1.5L used to cost Rs. 4,479,000. Now, its price has been raised by Rs. 320,000, and its new price is Rs. 4,799,000.

Honda BR-V 

  • Honda BR-V CVT S used to cost Rs. 4,939,000. Honda has raised the car price by Rs. 360,000, and the new cost is Rs. 5,299,000.

Honda HR-V 

  • Honda HR-V VTI used to cost Rs. 5,999,000. Honda has raised the price by Rs. 400,000, and the new price is Rs. 6,399,000.
  • Honda HR-V VTI S used to cost Rs. 6,199,000. After raising the price by Rs. 400,000, it now costs Rs. 6,599,000.

Honda Civic 

  • Honda Civic 1.5L M-CVT used to be of Rs. 6,349,000. After an increase of Rs. 500,000, the new price isRs. 6,849,000.
  • Honda Civic 1.5L Oriel M-CVT used to cost Rs. 6,599,000. It now costs Rs. 7,099,000 after an increase of Rs. 500,000.
  • Honda Civic RS 1.5L LL-CVT was previously of Rs. 7,549,000. After an increase of Rs. 550,000, it now costs Rs. 8,099,000.

Suzuki Car Prices Post Hike

Well, it wasn’t a surprise that Suzuki Pakistan also increased its car prices on January 23. All Suzuki car prices had been increased up to Rs. 3.5 lacs.

Suzuki Alto 

  • Suzuki Alto VX used to cost Rs. 1,699,000, but after a price increase of Rs. 160,000, its new price is Rs. 1,859,000.
  • Suzuki Alto VXR used to cost Rs. 1,976,000, but after a price increase of Rs. 180,000, it now costs Rs. 2,156,000.
  • Suzuki Alto VXR AGS used to cost Rs. 2,120,000. Its new price is Rs. 2,310,000.
  • Suzuki Alto AGS used to cost Rs. 2,223,000, but now it costs Rs. 2,423,000.

Suzuki Wagon R 

  • Suzuki Wagon R VXR was previously priced at Rs. 2,421,000. After a price hike of Rs. 208,000, it now costs Rs. 2,629,000.
  • Suzuki Wagon R VXL was previously priced at Rs. 2,564,000, but after a price hike of Rs. 225,000, it costs Rs. 2,789,000.
  • Suzuki Wagon R AGS was previously priced at Rs. 2,802,000, but after a price hike of Rs. 257,000, it now costs Rs. 3,059,000.

Suzuki Cultus 

  • Suzuki Cultus VXR previously cost Rs. 2,754,000. After a price hike of Rs. 285,000, its new price is Rs. 3,039,000.
  • Suzuki Cultus VXL previously cost Rs. 3,024,000. After a price hike of Rs. 315,000, it now costs Rs. 3,339,000.
  • Suzuki Cultus AGS previously cost Rs. 3,234,000. After a price hike of Rs. 335,000, it now costs Rs. 3,569,000.

Suzuki Swift 

  • Suzuki Swift GL MT used to cost Rs. 3,180,000. After a price hike of Rs. 299,000, it now costs Rs. 3,479,000.
  • Suzuki Swift GL CVT used to cost Rs. 3,420,000. After a  price hike of Rs. 322,000, it now costs Rs. 3,742,000.
  • Suzuki Swift GLX CVT used to cost Rs. 3,760,000. After a price hike of Rs. 355,000, it now costs Rs. 4,115,000.

Suzuki Ravi 

  • Suzuki Ravi used to cost Rs. 1,424,000. Now it costs Rs. 1,539,000.
  • Suzuki Ravi w/o deck used to cost Rs. 1,349,000. Its new price is Rs. 1,464,000.

Suzuki Bolan 

  • Suzuki Bolan Van used to cost Rs. 1,500,000 but now costs Rs. 1,619,000.
  • Suzuki Bolan Cargo used to cost Rs. 1,487,000 but now costs Rs. 1,606,000.

Revised Prices of Kia Cars

None of us was surprised that car prices were going up, and Kia  jumped on the bandwagon too. The company announced increased car prices for all of their models, effective from 31st January 2023.

Kia Picanto

  • KIA Picanto MT used to cost Rs. 3,100,000 but now costs Rs. 3,200,000 as it saw a jump of Rs. 100,000.
  • KIA Picanto AT used to cost Rs. 3,200,000 but after a jump of Rs. 200000 it now costs Rs. 3,400,000.

Kia Stonic 

  • KIA Stonic EX used to cost Rs. 4,545,000 but now costs Rs. 4,800,000 after the company hiked the price by Rs. 255,000.
  • KIA Stonic EX+ used to cost Rs. 4,848,000, however after observing an increase of Rs. 402,000, it now costs Rs. 5,250,000.

Kia Sportage 

  • The previous price of KIA Sportage Alpha was Rs. 6,250,000 and after an increase of Rs. 250,000, it now costs Rs. 6,500,000.
  • KIA Sportage FWD used to cost Rs. 6,750,000 but now costs Rs. 7,000,000 as it also saw a jump of Rs. 250,000.
  • Last but not least, the third variant KIA Sportage AWD used to cost Rs. 7,250,000 but now has a price of Rs. 7,650,000 as the company jacked up its price by Rs. 400,000.

Kia Sorento 

  • KIA Sorento 2.4L FWD had a previous price of Rs. 7,800,000 but is now priced at Rs. 8,400,000 as its rate has been increased by Rs. 600,000.
  • KIA Sorento 2.4L AWD had a previous price of Rs. 8,500,000 and after an increase of Rs. 600,000 and now it is priced at Rs. 9,100,000.
  • KIA Sorento 3.5L FWD had a previous price of Rs. 8,500,000 but is now priced at Rs. 9,100,000 as it also seen a jump of Rs. 600,000.

Kia Carnival 

  • KIA Carnival had an old price of Rs. 13,699,000 but is now worth Rs. 15,000,000 as its price has been increased by Rs. 1,301,000.

New Hyundai Car Prices 

After its fellow Pakistani car assemblers and manufacturers, Hyundai Nishat followed suit by hiking its car prices as well. New and increased Hyundai car prices were effective from 1st February 2023.

Hyundai Elantra 

  • The price of Elantra 1.6 increased from Rs. 5,299,000 to Rs. 5,699,000.
  • Similarly, the price of Elantra 2.0 got hiked from Rs. 5,699,000 to a whopping Rs. 6,099,000.

Hyundai Sonata 

  • Sonata 2.0 now costs Rs. 8,649,000 instead of the old price of Rs. 8,149,000.
  • Moreover, the price of Sonata 2.5 got hiked from Rs. 8,899,000 to Rs. 9,399,000. Both the models faced a price increase of Rs. 500,000.

Hyundai Tucson 

  • Tucson GWD used to cost Rs. 6,899,000, but after this price revision, it now costs Rs. 7,399,000.
  • Similarly, Tucson AWD also saw a price increase of Rs. 500,000 and went from Rs. 7,399,000 to Rs. 7,899,000.

New Rates of BAIC & Haval 

Sazgar Engineering also increased the prices of its BAIC BJ40 Plus and Haval H6 vehicles. Here are the revised rates of these vehicles.

  • The company announced that BAIC BJ40 Plus 2.0T will now cost Rs. 9,995,000 instead of its previous price of Rs. 9,295,000. That is an increase of 7 lac rupees in total.

In its circular, BAIC also mentioned that only those customers would be able to avail of the old price who will book the car and pay its full price by January 31, 2023. Hence, this new price will be effective from February 1st, 2023. Note that all of the above prices are ex-factory.

BAIC BJ40 Plus Price

Following Honda, Toyota, Suzuki, KIA, Peugeot, and Hyundai, Sazgar Engineering also came up with a price hike. It is pertinent to mention that new prices were applicable from February 01, 2023.

Here are the new prices of Haval H6 variants.

  • Haval H6 1.5 new price is Rs. 8,449,000 against the old rate of Rs. 7,425,000. Meaning, the car price is increased by Rs. 1,024,000.
  • Meanwhile, Haval H6 2.0 price is up by Rs. 1,150,000. It will now cost Rs. 9,649,000 compared to the old price of Rs. 8,449,000.
  • The company’s new entrant Haval H6 HEV new price is Rs. 10,995,000 against the previous price of Rs. 9,749,000.

Increased Prices of Peugeot 2008 

The French manufacturers Peugeot also took the leap and increased the price of its only crossover Peugeot 2008 variants.

  • The new price of Peugeot 2008 Active variant is Rs. 5,899,000 compared to old price of Rs. 5,400,000. Means, it has observed a hike of Rs. 499,000.
  • Meanwhile, the Peugeot 2008 Allure variant will now cost Rs. 6599,000 instead of Rs. 6,100,000. Meaning, it has observed an increase of Rs. 499,000.

DFSK and Price New Car Prices 

Regal Automobile Industries Ltd., which is the manufacturer and distributor of DFSK as well as Prince, announced a price hike for two of its cars on February 1.

The company’s two famous cars are Glory 580 Pro by DFSK and Prince Pearl. Regal Automobile did not cite any reason for this hike, but at this point, it is evident that the devaluation of the rupee is the main cause of this inflation.

  • The price of DFSK Glory 580 Pro has been increased from Rs. 5,900,000 to Rs. 6,200,000.

Prince Pearl 

  • The new price of Prince Pearl is now Rs. 1,700,000 instead of the old price of Rs. 1,539,000.

DFSK Glory 580 Pro is available at this price after full payment, while bookings for Prince Pearl have been closed now.
