Honda Starts Booking Civic 2022 But Where is the Car?

And Honda Atlas is at it again, as the company has started booking the new Honda Civic 2022, but the car is absent. According to a notification, the partial booking of all variants of the new sedan has started at Rs. 1,200,000. And it is a great news for the Civic lovers, but our question is, where is the car?

Although the sedan has been launched in the global market, but we all know that locally assembled cars usually have fewer specs and features. Furthermore, mostly there is a difference between the build quality of CKDs and CBUs. So, the common practice is that the companies launch or unveil the car, people see it, and then decide to book it. But Honda Atlas has started a somewhat wrong tradition.

Same Old Story of Honda City

If you guys remember, Honda Atlas did the same before the launch of Honda City’s 6th generation. Honda Atlas launched the bookings way before unveiling the car. Although there were thousands of bookings but it doesn’t justify the practice because it is taking advantage of the people’s love for Honda cars.

Furthermore, the thousands of bookings led to multiple issues, including late deliveries and complaints about its build quality. A number of people had to wait for their Honda City without knowing the exact delivery time, and when they saw the car, several of them were not happy. There were issues in car paint and body gaps, among others.

And we think that the same can happen in the case of Honda Civic. No one has seen it, no one knows about its build quality, there is no information about its specs and features, and then there is a constant threat of rate change because the current price is “tentative.”

Honda Civic 2022 Booking – Our Suggestion

To buyers, we would suggest waiting for the car, seeing it yourself and then decide whether they want to buy it or not. And for Honda Atlas, we will like to request them to stop this practice because it will harm them in the long run. Such practices will encourage investors to book the car in bulk and then sell them on ‘ON Money.’

If Honda believes in its product, first show it publicly and then let people decide. Don’t set a wrong precedent.

In the commercial law of Islam we cannot selling something we dosn’t have, the facts with Proton, Honda city and many more in the past had prove, we must not buy something who isn’t available yet, thus sellers must not start a business without anything to sale.

I m agree with waqas comments . in islamic mod of business transaction first there is must physical posession of selling product then sell otherwise transaction is void or not acceptable in Islam

Brand concious always prefer whatever they offered to them. Its a unique idea to show other car manufacturers that customers belive in our brand and the trust blindly on our products. Although, I’ll not perfer this practise.
