Hyundai Palisade Launched: Pricing, Booking and Delivery Details
Following our earlier report, Hyundai Pakistan has officially launched its flagship SUV, the Palisade, just now.
Pricing, Delivery, and Booking Details
The company has introduced the locally assembled Palisade in two variants. The official ex-factory prices are as follows:
| Variant | Seating Capacity | Ex-Factory Price | Booking Amount |
| Palisade Smart (lower-trim) | 8-Seater | Rs. 20,999,000 (2.1 Crore) | Rs. 3,000,000 (30 Lakhs) |
| Palisade Calligraphy (top-trim) | 7-Seater | Rs. 22,999,000 (2.3 Crore) | Rs. 3,300,000 (33 Lakhs) |
Note: These ex-factory prices are exclusive of 1% CVT, NEV Levy, and Advance Tax.
As an insight, by pricing the base variant at Rs. 2.1 crore, Hyundai has positioned the Palisade in direct competition with the GWM Tank 500 HEV, which currently costs Rs. 2.05 crore (ex-factory).
Bookings are now open, and deliveries will start from this August.
Local Assembly, First Outside South Korea
One of the biggest storylines here is not just the price tag, but the strategy behind it. The Palisade is locally assembled in Pakistan, making Pakistan the first country outside South Korea to assemble the SUV.
In other markets where the Palisade is sold, it is typically offered as an imported unit, so Hyundai’s localization move is a major milestone and likely a key reason it can play in this price bracket at all.
Features that Justify the “Flagship” Label
Globally known as Hyundai’s flagship SUV, the Palisade arrives in Pakistan as the brand’s most premium offering locally, both in size and price.
Under the hood, it comes with a 2.5-liter Turbo Hybrid setup producing 329 horsepower and 460 Nm of torque, which places it firmly in the “big SUV with serious shove” category.
Specs-wise, the vehicle does not compromise on luxury or innovation. Some of its highlighted features include:
- Premium Nappa leather upholstery
- 14-speaker Bose audio system
- Power-adjustable seats across all three rows
- Tri-zone climate control
- Soundproof glass for a quieter cabin
- 21-inch alloys (notable because these are often optional internationally)
- Dual panoramic sunroof spanning from the first to third row
- Self-damping suspension that adjusts based on load

Biggest SUV in the Local Market
With a longer wheelbase than the Toyota Fortuner and GWM Tank 500 HEV, the Palisade is now among the largest SUVs assembled in Pakistan. Have a look at the Palisade’s comparison with the TANK 500 HEV and Fortuner GR-S.
Inside, the vehicle features a true three-row, 7 (top-spec) or 8 (lower-spec) seat configuration. In the 7-seater, the middle row consists of individual captain’s seats, and in the 8-seater, the middle row uses traditional bench seats.
Furthermore, the third row offers three seating positions with generous legroom to accommodate full-size adults securely, avoiding the cramped space typically found in the third rows of other 7-seater SUVs.
