Jetour’s SUVs In Pakistan – Official Date Announced
Another day brings fresh news of an exciting addition to Pakistan’s automotive market, with the introduction of a new car brand. In recent times, we’ve seen electric vehicle manufacturers like BYD and Deepal making waves in the local EV scene. This time, however, we turn our attention to Jetour’s SUV, the ‘Dashing’ and ‘X70 Plus’.
You may be curious about who is behind bringing Jetour to Pakistan. Last week, we shared that United Motors had plans to introduce this brand to the country, and now, a recent announcement on their official social media confirms the much-awaited launch date – February 20, 2025.
Jetour, a subsidiary of the well-known Chinese automaker Chery, was founded in 2018 and focuses on manufacturing SUVs and crossovers. The brand is now preparing to launch two of its popular models in Pakistan.
From what we know so far, both the Jetour Dashing and X70 Plus will be locally assembled (CKD) and equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine. The Dashing will feature a 5-seater configuration, while the X70 Plus will offer space for up to seven passengers.
