Kia Increases Car Prices Without Mentioning Any Reason

Kia Lucky Motors has increased Kia car prices without mentioning any reason in its circular. The notification by the company thanked its dealers for the support and mentions that the revised prices will be implemented from April 1, 2023.

These are ex-factory prices including CVT.

New Kia Car Prices 

The car assembler has increased the prices of its SUVs and CUVs, i.e., Stonic, Sportage and Sorento. Here are the revised prices of the vehicles.

Picanto New Price

• Kia Picanto M/T used to cost Rs. 3,300,000 but after a jump of Rs. 50,000 now costs Rs. 3,350,000.
• Kia Picanto A/T, on the other hand, now costs Rs. 3,625,000 instead of Rs. 3,550,000 as its price is increased by Rs. 75,000.

 Stonic New Price 

• Kia Stonic EX now costs Rs. 5,350,000 instead of Rs. 5,200,000 as the price has been increased by Rs. 150,000.
• Whereas, Kia Stonic EX+ has a new price of Rs. 5,930,000 as compared to the old price of Rs. 5,730,000. The company jacked its price by Rs. 200,000.

Revised Price of Sportage 

• The price of Sportage FWD was raised by Rs. 150,000 , but now it costs Rs. 7,940,000 compared to old rate of Rs.7,790,000.
• Similarly, the price of Sportage AWD is increased by Rs. 200,000. This variant’s previous price was Rs. 8,370,000 but now it costs Rs. 8,570,000. 

Sorento Updated Price

•  Sorento 2.4L FWD used to cost Rs. 9,540,000 but now costs Rs. 10,040,000  as its price is increased by Rs. 500,000.
• Similarly, Sorento 2.4L AWD had a price of Rs.10,390,000 a few days ago. Now it costs Rs. 10,890,0000. This is a difference of a whopping Rs. 500,000.
• Lastly, Sorento 3.5L FWD is now priced at Rs. 10,890,000 instead of Rs. 10,390,000 like Sorento 2.4L AWD. It also seen a jump of Rs. 500,000.

Terms and Conditions 

• All the orders on existing ex-factory price with full payment credited in LMC’s bank account as of March 31, 2023, will be delivered at existing prices.
• All the orders will be accepted on full payment only.
• Ex-factory prices are excluded of freight and insurance charges.
• New duties and taxes by the government will be applicable at the time of delivery.
