Last but not Least, Proton Increased Prices of SAGA
Earlier this month, all car companies (except Changan and Proton) increased their car prices. KIA took the lead, followed by Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, Prince DFSK, Hyundai, and United Motors, all hiked their prices. Two weeks later, Changan did the honors yesterday, And now Proton has also made the big move of increasing the Proton Saga prices.
Like Changan, Proton made massive price changes of Rs. 224,000 for all three variants of SAGA. New ex-factory prices of CKD Proton SAGA variants are now in effect.
New Prices of Proton SAGA
After a price hike of Rs. 224,000 across the lineup, the new price of Proton SAGA Standard manual variant has become Rs. 2,149,000. The base variant’s old price was Rs. 1,925,000.
The new price of Proton SAGA Standard automatic variant has become Rs. 2,299,000. The mid variant’s old price was Rs. 2,075,000.
The new price of Proton SAGA ACE automatic variant has become Rs. 2,399,000. The top-of-the-line variant’s old price was Rs. 2,175,000.
Deliveries of CKD Proton SAGA
Proton has just dispatched the first batch of CKD units of the Proton Saga. The dealerships will receive the units and start delivering the booked cars to buyers very soon.
Proton brought great news for the existing SAGA buyers and a bad one for its future customers on the same day. But that’s just how the game works, folks.
