In an earlier blog post, we informed you that the local automaker was planning to replace the outdated Bolan with the CKD Suzuki Every by mid-October. As always, the news from our reliable sources has once again proven to be accurate.
International Specs
Here are specification and features of international variant of Suzuki Every, as the company has not disclosed the features of CKD unit of this van.
Style & Design (Exterior and Interior)
If you’re familiar with these vans, you probably have a good idea of what to expect in terms of design aesthetics. The Suzuki Every follows the typical boxy shape with a tall body and small tires. However, compared to its predecessor, the Suzuki Bolan, Every boast a noticeably more modern and sturdier exterior.
Inside, the Every maintains the familiar high-mounted dashboard but incorporates more modern features, resulting in a more refined and aesthetically pleasing cabin comparing to the previous Bolan.
Like most JDM cars, the Suzuki Every offers a variety of options and features internationally. The base model come with essentials like climate control, ABS, and power steering, etc.
Engine & Power
The engine and performance of the Japanese Suzuki Every are fairly modest, as you’d expect from a 660cc engine carrying the capacity to produce 49hp and torque of 62Nm. It’s designed primarily for city driving and light-duty tasks, so while it’s not a powerhouse, it gets the job done for everyday use, such as short commutes, school runs, or transporting light cargo.
With a curb weight of around 950kg, the engine can handle these tasks reasonably well, but performance can feel underwhelming, especially when the vehicle is fully loaded with passengers or cargo. Moreover, it comes with 37L fuel tank and 19 km per litre fuel economy in city whereas 21 km/l on highway.
Price
As per our sources, the upcoming vehicle is expected to cost around Rs. 2,600,000, compared to the Bolan, currently priced at Rs. 1,940,000, making a difference of Rs. 660,000.
