MG Motor Pakistan has announced a $20 million investment to expand its manufacturing operations in Lahore, aiming to strengthen local production and introduce new technologies in the country’s automotive sector.
According to a report by Business Recorder, the investment will support the expansion of MG’s local assembly plant and help the company increase production capacity while exploring the introduction of additional vehicle models in Pakistan.

In an official statement, MG Motor Pakistan CEO Shao Jian Qiang said the move reflects the company’s long-term commitment to Pakistan’s growing automotive industry.

He further emphasized that Pakistan remains a key market for the company’s regional strategy.
