MINI Aceman SE Showcased at MINI’s Karachi Event

The MINI Aceman SE was among the electric models showcased at MINI’s official Karachi launch event, held following Dewan Motors’ introduction of the MINI lineup in Pakistan earlier this year.

The Aceman is different from the Cooper and Countryman in one important way: it is offered as an EV-only model. In MINI’s Pakistan lineup, it sits between the Cooper SE and the Countryman SE.

It is larger and more practical than the Cooper, but still more compact and city-friendly than the Countryman.

That makes the Aceman SE a middle-ground electric MINI for buyers who want more space than a hatchback without moving into a larger SUV.

What Is the MINI Aceman SE?

The Aceman SE is the higher-output version of MINI’s compact electric crossover. It uses a 49.2 kWh battery, produces 218 hp, and offers a claimed WLTP range of 383 to 404 km.

In simple terms, the Aceman SE is aimed at buyers who want:

  • A fully electric MINI
  • More cabin and boot space than the Cooper
  • Compact dimensions for city driving
  • Crossover-style practicality
  • Stronger range and performance than the Aceman E

At 4,079 mm long, the Aceman SE is 221 mm longer than the Cooper SE. It also has a 2,606 mm wheelbase, which is 80 mm longer than the Cooper’s.

That extra size helps improve cabin space while keeping the car manageable for urban use.

Exterior Design

The Aceman SE carries a sharper design than the Cooper. Where the Cooper keeps the classic round MINI look, the Aceman uses a more angular crossover shape.

Key exterior features include:

  • Angular LED headlights with light signatures
  • Closed octagonal front grille
  • Compact crossover body style
  • Floating roof design
  • Aerodynamic alloy wheels
  • Union Jack LED rear lights
  • Raised stance compared to the Cooper

The raised body gives the Aceman SE a more practical posture for city roads, speed breakers, and uneven surfaces. It is not a full SUV, but it should feel less sensitive to road imperfections than the lower Cooper.

Interior and Practicality

Inside, the Aceman SE follows MINI’s newer electric cabin design. The layout is built around the circular central display and a cleaner dashboard treatment.

Interior highlights include:

  • Circular OLED MINI Interaction Unit
  • Recycled knit textile dashboard
  • Leather-free interior design
  • Modern steering wheel
  • Ambient lighting
  • Sustainable interior materials
  • 300 litres of boot space
  • 1,005 litres of luggage space with rear seats folded

The luggage capacity is one of the Aceman SE’s strongest practical advantages over the Cooper SE.

The Cooper offers 210 to 800 litres, while the Aceman SE offers 300 to 1,005 litres. That makes the Aceman better suited to buyers who need more daily usability but still want a compact EV.

Technology Features

The Aceman SE carries MINI’s newer technology package, with a focus on digital controls and EV-specific information.

Key technology features include:

  • MINI Experience Modes
  • MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant
  • Digital infotainment system
  • Integrated navigation
  • EV energy display
  • Charging status display
  • Range monitoring
  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

MINI Experience Modes adjust the cabin display, lighting, and sound profile. It is not a must-have feature, but it gives the cabin a more distinctive feel than a typical compact EV.

When enabled, over-the-air software updates may allow certain vehicle systems to receive remote updates. Buyers should confirm Pakistan-spec availability with Dewan Motors.

Warranty and Charging Support

Dewan Motors is offering the following coverage for the Aceman SE:

Coverage Details
Vehicle Warranty 24 months, unlimited mileage
Battery Warranty 8 years or 160,000 km
Home Charger Complimentary 11kW AC wallbox charger with installation

The battery warranty is important because battery life remains a key concern for EV buyers in Pakistan.

The included wallbox also matters. The Aceman SE makes the strongest case for buyers who have dedicated parking and reliable home charging. Without home charging, ownership becomes more dependent on Pakistan’s still-developing public charging network.

Bottom Line

The MINI Aceman SE is the practical middle ground in MINI’s electric lineup. It offers more space than the Cooper SE, stays more compact than the Countryman SE, and brings EV-only crossover packaging to the brand’s Pakistan range.

Its strongest case is for buyers who want a premium electric city crossover with home charging, compact dimensions, and more practicality than a hatchback.

For buyers without reliable charging access or those who need full SUV space, the Aceman SE should be carefully compared with the Countryman and other premium EV crossovers before deciding.
