Flood water has reached the sides of the motorway, but the main motorway is unaffected
No Section of Motorway Affected by Floods
Spokesperson Syed Imran Ahmed clarified that no section of the M-5 Motorway has been impacted by floods. Despite rising water levels in nearby areas, traffic flow remains normal and uninterrupted.
The spokesperson added that while floodwaters have reached the sides of certain stretches of the motorways, the main roads remain unaffected and safe for driving. Motorway authorities are continuously monitoring the situation to ensure the safety of travelers.
The Motorway Police is present on duty around the clock across all motorways. They continue to provide guidance, assistance, and safety measures for commuters, ensuring smooth travel even under challenging weather conditions.
