Multan–Muzaffargarh Road Link Threatened by Chenab River

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has issued a severe flood alert regarding the rapidly rising water levels in the Chenab River and the Sher Shah pull.

According to the latest updates, floodwater is approaching the toll plaza near Sher Shah Pull, an important bridge that connects Multan with Muzaffargarh and other Southern cities.

PSCA stated that once the floodwater reaches this point, the Sher Shah bridge may soon be completely submerged, cutting road links between Multan, Muzaffargarh, and Dera Ghazi Khan.
