Use Murree Expressway as an Alternative

Traffic Police have advised motorists to use the Murree Expressway as the main alternative route during the closure period.

Vehicles will be diverted at designated points, while traffic wardens will be deployed at key locations to guide drivers and manage traffic flow.

Expect Delays During Peak Tourist Season

The closure comes during the summer holiday season, when tourist traffic towards Murree is usually higher. This could place additional pressure on alternative routes, particularly during peak travel hours.

Travelers are advised to plan their journeys in advance, allow extra travel time, and follow the instructions of traffic personnel to avoid unnecessary congestion.

For traffic-related assistance, motorists can contact the Murree Traffic Control Room at 051-9269200.
