NAS14 Showcased At The 12th VCCCP Annual Car Show

(Pakwheels Exclusive) Karachi: In the 12th Annual Vintage & Classic Car Show which was held on Sunday, 1st March at Frere Hall, NUST Formula Student Team took part where the award- winning NAS14 car was put on display for the general public.

The team was heartened by the appreciation and support it received from the visitors. “People should see this positive side of Pakistan. All the very best, Interactive NUST Formula Student Team!” said Tanya Mirza. “Keep making us proud and I hope that Interactive NUST Formula Student Team will bring more laurels for our beloved homeland. Good luck!” expressed, Mohsin Kamran

The event was attended by the Provincial Information Minister, Mr. Sharjeel Memon who lauded the Interactive NUST Formula Student Team for their efforts and even posed for a group picture with the Team members. “I wish the The NUST FORMULA Student Team good luck for the future.” said Memon. The Sindh Information Minister encouraged and motivated the Team Members to take the Interactive NUST Formula Student Project to the next level by commercializing it.

“The reason for participating in the Vintage Show was to exhibit our project amongst the motorsports enthusiasts and to gain support for the project.” said Fatima Ali (The Marketing Team Member for NUST Formula Student Team)

Interactive NUST Formula Student Team is the first ever formula student team from Pakistan, which was formed by the motivated engineering students of NUST – PNEC in 2012. The team has been representing the nation at the world’s largest educational motorsports competition, Formula Student, UK for the past three years now. Last year, Interactive NUST Formula Student Team was declared winners for the Most Effective Communication Strategy Award and came 52nd out of the 106 student teams that took part in the competition from around the globe.

For the year 2015, owing to the constant support of its partner Interactive Group, the team will participate once again at Formula Student UK and will go a step further by making its mark at Formula Student Germany for the first time. Interactive NUST Formula Student Team will proudly raise the Pakistani Flag at the world-renowned competitions this year, with the aim of delivering a better performance than before.

The team will be a part of many upcoming auto exhibitions and roadshows to reach out to the people of Pakistan and to win potential sponsors for the Project.

Around 140 vehicles were put on display at the show which included Rolls Royce, Ford Thunderbird, Mercedes Benz, and Ferrari.
