New 2014 Toyota Tundra finally comes to view

Toyota Tundra is a gigantic piece of machinery aimed towards a certain type of American buyers who work and live through their vehicles and today is the day they get to embrace the all new model of the Toyota Tundra.

Although countries other then USA have imported these vehicles, yet it is designed with the American buyer in mind and the new model looks more American compared to the last one which Pakistan has got through imports.

The 2014 Tundra was revealed today at the Chicago Auto Show. As is now the trend in the pickup truck industry, adding chrome is crucial, as is a wider grille.

To match the likes of Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado, the 2014 Tundra gets the same choice of 278hp 4-liter V6, 310 hp 4.6-liter V8 and 381hp 5.7-liter V8. The base engine has a five-speed auto, while the other two are offered with six-speed units. Prices have yet to be announced, but you can expect 1 or 2% increase to be applied.

“Toyota prides itself on listening to its customers and the development of the 2014 American-born Tundra is a perfect example,” said Bill Fay, group vice president and general manager, Toyota Division.

“Tundra’s new exterior design and all-new interior were inspired by customer feedback requesting a more chiseled exterior and refined interior with improved driver ergonomics, and easy-to-use technology, giving customers more of what they want instead, in addition to what they need,” he continued.
