Assalamualaikum everyone! I’m Suneel, and I’m back with another episode of the PakWheels First Look Review Series.
Today we’re bringing you a very important and highly awaited review — the all-new Hyundai Tucson 2025 Hybrid Long Wheelbase.

Hyundai Nishat has introduced two variants in Pakistan:

1. Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) Smart

2. H-TRAC All-Wheel Drive (AWD) Signature

In this video, we’ll be reviewing the top-of-the-line H-TRAC variant.

Front Look

The first thing you’ll notice is the bold and stylish front grille, which plays a major role in its updated look.

• It features concealed parametric jewel-style DRLs that seamlessly blend into the grille when turned off, giving it a unified appearance.

• The color of this car is a striking Mercury-style grey, which adds to its road presence.

• The car has IFS (Intelligent Front-Lighting System) headlamps in the top variant, which auto-dim when detecting oncoming traffic.

• There’s also a diffuser-style bumper, parking sensors, and a mix of piano black and matte grey finishes on the front.

Side Profile

The side profile is where the Tucson really flexes its design muscle:

• 19-inch machine-finished alloy wheels with a gloss grey accent in the top variant.

• Aerodynamic canards near the wheel arches add a bold SUV character.

• Sharp character lines run across the doors and fenders—very sleek, but probably a nightmare for dent repair!

• Roof rails are in piano black.

• Side mirrors are body-colored and include 360° cameras.

• Door handles are body-colored as well.

• Around the C-pillar, there’s a stylish matte chrome trim running along the window line—subtle and modern.

• Even the Hyundai logo on the front is finished in black instead of chrome.

Rear Design

From the rear, the Tucson 2025 continues to impress:

• The LED tail lights have a Mustang-inspired scale pattern.

• A full-length light bar runs across the tailgate.

• The Hyundai badge is embossed inside the glass, and the rear wiper is concealed within the roof-mounted spoiler.

• Includes high-mounted brake light, shark fin antenna, rear parking sensors, and a dual-tone matte grey bumper.

• The H-TRAC badge confirms the AWD system, and there’s Hybrid and Tucson branding as well.

Trunk Space & Features

• The Tucson offers 587 liters of boot space, expandable to 1770 liters with the 60:40 rear seat split folded down.

• There’s a smart trunk feature—stand near the tailgate with the key, and it opens automatically within 3 seconds (no kicking or touching required).

• Includes LED boot light, 12V socket, and a space-saving spare tire with tool kit.

Key & Entry

• Comes with Hyundai’s latest key featuring the “H” logo.

• Remote engine start is available—press and hold the button for 4 seconds to start the car remotely.

• Smart entry is standard—just touch the handle with the key in your pocket to unlock.

Interior – First Impressions

• The star of the interior is the massive panoramic screen setup:

  • 12.8” infotainment screen

  • 12.8” digital instrument cluster

  • Both are combined into a sleek panoramic display that feels like you’re in a cinema.

  • One major spec is Head-up Display in this new Tucson, which is a very useful feature during the drive.

• There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner to store and recall driver profiles (up to 2 users) for things like:

  • Seat position

  • Ambient lighting

  • Starting the car

Dashboard, Steering & Tech

• Dashboard layout is premium with three-tone materials:

  • Hard plastic on top

  • Fabric-type material in the middle

  • Brushed silver/matte chrome accents below

• Leather-wrapped steering wheel with:

  • Voice command

  • Adaptive cruise control with distance adjustment

  • Lane keep assist

  • Navigation buttons

  • Phone controls

• Paddle shifters included

• Shift-by-wire gear selector mounted near the steering

Infotainment & Controls

• Dual-zone climate control with synced temperature settings

• Wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay

• System runs smooth—no lag, great resolution

• Physical buttons also included for old-school users

• Driving modes:

  • Eco

  • Normal

  • Sport

  • Smart (adaptive based on driving style)

• Terrain modes (AWD only):

  • Snow

  • Mud

  • Sand

ADAS Features

Includes multiple Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), such as:

• Adaptive cruise control

• Lane keep assist

• Blind spot monitor with camera feed when turning

• Forward collision warning

• Emergency braking

• Rear collision warning

• Rear cross-traffic alert

• Hill start assist & downhill assist

Console & Storage

• Unconventional center console with ample storage space

• Wireless charger, USB-C ports, 12V socket

• Fixed armrest with built-in cupholders

• 64-color ambient lighting

• Heated & ventilated seats for both front occupants

• 8-way powered driver seat with memory function

• Powered passenger seat (without lumbar support)

• All four windows are auto up/down

• UV-reflective glass all around

• Standard panoramic sunroof

Backseat Comfort

• Excellent rear space thanks to the long wheelbase

• Three headrests, ISOFIX anchors, center armrest

• Rear AC vents, two USB-C ports, and reclining seat adjustment with three levels

• Boss mode seat allows rear passengers to adjust the front passenger seat from behind

Engine & Performance

Saved the best for last!

• Both AWD (H-TRAC) and FWD variants are hybrid.

• Powered by a 1.6L TGDI turbocharged hybrid engine (same as in Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sportage Hybrid).

• Performance figures:

  • 232 hp

  • 367 Nm torque

  • Higher than its siblings like the Sportage (226 hp / 350 Nm)

That means this Tucson is quicker and more performance-tuned compared to other cars using the same engine.
