New Petrol Prices Announced For Next 15 Days
ISLAMABAD – The federal government has announced revised petrol prices for the upcoming 15 days, in line with its fortnightly price review mechanism.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol will remain unchanged at Rs. 264.61 per litre, providing relief to motorists. However, the price of high-speed diesel — widely used in transport and agriculture sectors — has been increased by Rs. 2.78 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs. 272.77 per litre.
Officials stated that the adjustment was made in consideration of international market trends and currency fluctuations. The revised prices took effect from 12 midnight and will remain applicable until the next review.
