Saudi football players head coach Herve Renard has rubbished all the rumors narrating a story that the Saudi Royal family will gift each player a Rolls Royce Phantom after a historic win against Messi’s Argentina.

Previously, the rumor was dispersed among the netizens that each player of the 26-man squad would be gifted a Rolls Royce from Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, aka MBS, after the team defeated tough Argentina with style.

Herve Renard stated, “there is nothing true about this.” “We have a very serious federation and ministry of sport, and it is not the time to get something at this moment. We only have played one game, have two very important [group stage] games, and we are hoping for some more.”, he further said.

The 54-year-old Saudi coach informed, “I don’t know if you remember the press conference before Argentina. I said the Argentina game is one of the three important games we have to play. The only good thing at the end of this group stage is to finish No. 1 or No. 2.”

Earlier, an ill-informed renowned Indian businessman, Suhel Seth, and a Pakistani social media activist, Awab Alvi, spread the rumor via their tweets, where it picked traction.
