Pak-New Zealand T-20 Match Lahore Traffic Plan

On April 13th, City Traffic Police Lahore announced the traffic plan for Pak-New Zealand T-20 Match in a tweet. The Tweet has an image captioned:

“The complete arrangements for full-proof traffic have been made for the Pakistan-New Zealand cricket matches. The teams will play against each other on the 14th of April. During the matches, traffic will continue as usual on Mall Road, Jail Road, and Canal Road.”

The Pakistan-New Zealand T-20 series 2023 is being held in Pakistan at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. In lieu of these matches, the City Traffic Police Lahore has ensured that citizens know the important routes and traffic plans. 

The official account also shared an image containing further important information regarding the Pak-New Zealand T-20 match.

According to the provided traffic advisory plan in the image, audience members coming in their own vehicles will have 3 main parking spaces available to them:

  1. Government College for Boys, Gulberg
    (Entry main Ferozpur road) (Entry beside Centre Point National Pak)
  2. Liberty Parking Area
    (Entry Hussain Chowk) )Entry Liberty Roundabout)
  3. LDA Plaza Sunfort Hotel
    (Entry Hussain Chowk) (Entry left of Gulberg centre, Gulberg road, Nestle Chowk, Hijaz Hospital CHowk)

During the matches, Main Ferozpur Road, Jail road, Canal road and Main Boulevard road Gulberg will all remain open for traffic as usual.

The notice also read that a shuttle will be available for disabled and/or elderly audience members from Gulberg College parking to the stadium. Moreover, citizens can keep themselves updated of the traffic plans via the RASTA app and RASTA FM.

The notification assured the citizens that during team movements, relevant roads will be blocked for the minimum amount of time possible.
