PAMA Insight: Honda Leads as Bike Sales Surge in April 2026

Pakistan’s two-wheeler market posted another strong month in April 2026, with major motorcycle manufacturers showing strong month-on-month sales growth, according to PAMA data.

The numbers suggest that motorcycles remain the strongest mobility segment in Pakistan, especially at a time when car prices, fuel costs, and daily commuting expenses continue to pressure buyers.

Honda Still Rules the Bike Market

Atlas Honda remained far ahead of the competition. The company sold 163,048 units in April 2026, up 14.45% month-on-month from 142,458 units in March 2026.

Honda’s production also rose from 142,346 units in March to 165,968 units in April, showing that demand remained strong enough for the company to increase output.

This also confirms, once again, that in Pakistan’s motorcycle market, Honda is still the volume king.

Suzuki Sees the Highest Growth

Pak Suzuki recorded the strongest percentage growth among the three listed manufacturers. Its sales increased from 2,766 units in March to 3,550 units in April, marking a 28.34% increase.

Production also climbed from 2,632 units to 3,811 units.

Suzuki’s base is much smaller than Honda’s, but the jump shows improved buyer activity in the higher-priced motorcycle segment. This is usually where buyers look for more comfort, better engine refinement, and stronger brand-backed ownership than they find in entry-level commuter bikes.

United Auto Also Posts Strong Growth

United Auto also delivered a solid month. Sales increased from 17,869 units in March to 21,126 units in April, showing 18.23% growth.

Production rose from 18,137 units to 20,433 units, reflecting stronger demand in the budget commuter segment.

United’s numbers matter because it serves the price-sensitive buyer, the same audience most affected by fuel prices, inflation, and daily transport costs.

April 2026 Motorcycle Sales Snapshot

Manufacturer March 2026 Sales April 2026 Sales Growth
Atlas Honda 142,458 163,048 +14.45%
Suzuki 2,766 3,550 +28.34%
United  17,869 21,126 +18.23%

What These Numbers Suggest?

The April data show that motorcycles remain Pakistan’s most resilient vehicle category. Even when fuel prices remain high, buyers continue to rely on bikes because they are cheaper to buy and maintain, and easier to use in crowded cities.

Honda’s lead shows the strength of brand trust and resale value. United’s growth indicates that budget buyers remain active. Suzuki’s higher percentage jump shows that there is also some movement in the premium commuter segment.

PakWheels Take

April 2026 was a strong month for Pakistan’s two-wheeler market. The biggest story is not just growth, but the reason behind it.

For many households, a motorcycle is no longer just a convenience. It is the main survival tool for daily commuting. With car ownership becoming harder and public transport still limited in many areas, the bike market continues to absorb demand from students, office workers, delivery riders, and lower-middle-income families.

Honda remains untouchable in volume, United continues to serve budget-conscious riders, and Suzuki’s growth shows that a smaller but active buyer base still exists for better-equipped motorcycles.
