Suzuki Leads Again

What April Sales Tell Us

April’s model-wise data points to three clear market signals.

First, affordability still rules Pakistan’s car market. The Suzuki Alto remained the country’s best-selling model, with 7,567 units, indicating that small, fuel-efficient cars continue to attract the strongest demand.

Second, upper-budget hatchbacks and compact sedans are not dead. The Suzuki Swift rose 122%, while the Hyundai Elantra grew 96%, indicating that buyers are still willing to move above entry-level cars when pricing, availability, or perceived value make sense.

Third, Chinese-origin SUVs are now part of the mainstream sales conversation. Haval sold 2,208 units, while Jetour recorded 305 units. That makes the SUV space more competitive for Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, and other established players.
