Pakistan Car Sales More Than Double in April
Pakistan’s auto industry had a strong April, with total vehicle sales, including cars, vans, jeeps, and electric vehicles, reaching 22,025 units, according to PAMA’s April report and Arif Habib Limited.
That is more than double the number sold in April last year.
The jump came after a slow March, which was affected by Ramadan. Sales bounced back sharply once the month ended.
Suzuki Had The Biggest Jump
Pak Suzuki posted the highest growth among all companies, with sales up 175% compared to April 2025. The Swift led the recovery with a 229% increase in sales compared to April 2025, followed by the Alto with 232% increase and the Cultus with 66% increase.
In total, Suzuki sold 11,012 units in April 2026.
Toyota Grew Strongly
Toyota Indus sold 4,330 units in April, up 33% compared to April 2025. Corolla and Yaris sales rose 37%, while Fortuner and Hilux together accounted for 879 units, up 18%.
Honda’s Recovery
Honda sold 2,716 units in April, up 59% compared to last year. The Civic and City led the growth, up 55%, while the BRV and HRV more than doubled compared to the same period last year.
GWM Continues to Surge
GWM recorded a massive 305% jump in sales compared to last year, selling 2,225 units in April. Its Tank 500 SUV was also added in this April’s 2026 PAMA report, with 16 units sold.
Motorcycles
Motorcycle sales also grew, with the industry selling 187,724 units in April 2026, up 41% compared to April 2025. Atlas Honda remained the dominant player.
