After navigating a prolonged period of economic headwinds, Pakistan’s local auto landscape has witnessed a massive rebound.
The two-wheeler industry has just posted its highest-ever sales volume in the fiscal year 2026, breaking historical ceilings and cementing the motorcycle as the undisputed backbone of national mobility.
The 1.93 Million Milestone
According to the latest industry data compiled by Arif Habib Limited, motorcycle sales across the country surged to an all-time high of 1.93 million units in FY26.
This exceptional performance completely eclipses the industry’s previous peak of 1.85 million units recorded back in FY21.
When factoring in the 42,000 three-wheelers sold during the same period, the total segment closed out FY26 at an impressive 1.97 million combined units.
This historic milestone follows severe market bottlenecks experienced during the sharp slowdowns of FY23 and FY24.
The industry’s strong recovery over the last two years directly reflects stabilizing macroeconomic indicators, improving consumer demand, and an overall strengthening of local economic activity.
