Pakistan’s First All-Electric Truck ‘Riddara RD6’ Spotted in Karachi

Remember back in May when we first shared the buzz about an all-electric pickup truck coming to Pakistan? The whispers were all about the Riddara RD6—set to be the country’s first electric pickup, brought in by Capital Smart Motors (CSM). Well, it’s no longer just talk—the Riddara RD6 has now been spotted in Karachi!

And this isn’t just a random sighting—it’s a strong sign that the launch, planned for August or September, is right around the corner. What once felt like a distant date is now almost here. It really looks like CSM is gearing up to roll this electric truck out onto our roads soon. This marks the arrival of a new product from Radar Auto, a subsidiary of the Geely Auto Group.

Now, while we’re still waiting on the official details about what features the Pakistani version will have, CSM is keeping things under wraps for now. But don’t worry—since they’re importing Completely Built Units (CBUs), we can look at the global version to get a pretty good idea of what to expect. And from what we’ve seen, it’s definitely worth getting excited about.
