The tweet did not contain any other information regarding these pink buses. The routes of the pink bus service or which areas it would cover have not been shared yet. Still, it seems like a great initiative to create convenience for women’s commute.
Electric Buses in Sindh
Sindh has been working towards launching different buses to improve commuting for its citizens. In the second week of January, Sindh launched Pakistan’s first electric bus. Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon had made an announcement regarding the launch of an e-bus in Sindh.
Adding to his announcement, Sindh Mass Transit Authority stated that these e-buses are charged through solar energy – environmentally friended buses. With a comfortable ride, commuters will get another relief – low fares, the authority added.
