The Exterior: Modern and Clean
Designed at GAC’s studio in Europe, the Aion UT drops the traditional radiator grille in favor of a smooth, aerodynamic nose. Its front face stands out with unique headlight clusters and dual-segment LED daytime running lights, giving the car a clean, approachable look.
Along the sides, it features premium flush electronic door handles that pop out automatically, minimizing wind resistance. The Elite variant sits on efficiency-focused 16-inch wheels with dual-tone aerodynamic covers to maximize battery mileage. To complete the modern look, blacked-out pillars create a sportier “floating roof” effect that blends perfectly with the dark rear window glass.
The Interior: Surprisingly Big and Packed with Tech
Stepping inside reveals a minimalist cabin that feels like a comfortable modern living room. The dashboard is dominated by a giant 14.6-inch floating touchscreen that handles media and navigation while fully supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Directly in front of the driver, an 8.8-inch digital screen neatly displays speed and range info. Because there is no bulky transmission tunnel, the flat EV floor allows for a dual-layer floating center console with massive open storage underneath.
Despite its compact exterior stance, a long 2,750 mm wheelbase delivers C-SUV level rear legroom. The interior also features a unique “Bed Mode,” allowing the front seats to fold completely flat, meeting the rear seats for a mobile lounge experience.
