“Parday Kay Peechay Kya Hai?” Suzuki Hints at a Major Reveal for PAPS 2025

Recently, Suzuki added a pop-up on its official website showing a car covered in black wrap, with only its headlights visible and the text:

“FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, EXCELLENCE TAKES SHAPE AT PAPS 2025.”

Pop-up appears on official Pak Suzuki website

This suggests that Pak Suzuki is planning to launch a major new car in Pakistan at the upcoming PAPS auto show in Karachi.

If that happens, it could be a groundbreaking launch as Suzuki rarely introduces all-new models in the local market, and when it does, the impact on the market is significant, as seen with the launches of the Alto and Every.

So, What’s Hiding Under the Wrap?

Based on the curves and headlight design visible in the teaser, we strongly believe the mystery car is the Suzuki Fronx.

This aligns with our earlier report that Suzuki has been preparing to introduce a locally assembled Fronx in Pakistan, and the teaser further confirms its expected debut at the upcoming PAPS 2025 Auto Show.

If launched, it would be a historic move for Suzuki, marking the company’s first locally assembled crossover SUV in Pakistan. Coming to the competition, it’s a subcompact crossover SUV, and it is expected to compete with the Kia Stonic in the local market.

Quick Look at the Specs and Features

So far, we don’t have local specs and features, but internationally, the Fronx comes with a 1.5L mild-hybrid engine producing around 102 horsepower and 137 Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission.

Some highlighted features in the international variant include a head-up display, wireless charger, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital climate control, and several safety features such as six airbags, hill-hold control, a 360-degree camera, and traction control.

However, these features belong to the international model, and Suzuki may reduce or modify the equipment and powertrain options for the Pakistan launch.
