Petrol Price in Pakistan Increased By Rs. 4.80/L

The Government of Pakistan has announced new fuel prices effective from June 16, 2025. Based on recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA). The petrol prices and diesel rates have both been increased.

High-Speed Diesel (HSD) will now cost Rs. 262.59 per liter, up by Rs. 7.95 from the previous price of Rs. 254.64. Similary, petrol price has been increased by Rs. 4.80 per liter, bringing the new price to Rs. 258.43, compared to the earlier Rs. 253.63.

These changes are part of the government’s regular price review, which considers global oil trends and domestic market conditions. The increase in fuel prices is expected to affect transportation costs and may lead to higher prices for everyday goods and services.

Consumers and businesses are encouraged to take note of these revised rates, as they could impact daily expenses and operating costs. Further changes may be announced in the next fortnightly review, depending on international oil prices and other economic factors.
